Position Summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking an experienced Application Development Program Manager to lead and coordinate complex technology initiatives across multiple development teams. This role requires a strong background in Agile delivery, application development lifecycle management, and cross-functional program execution. The ideal candidate will drive alignment between engineering, product, and business stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of critical applications.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end program management for application development initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical strategy
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects across cross-functional Agile teams
  • Drive Agile best practices, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and delivery tracking
  • Partner with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to define program scope, timelines, and deliverables
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and blockers; proactively implement mitigation strategies
  • Track and report on program performance, milestones, and KPIs to senior leadership
  • Ensure consistent communication and coordination across all stakeholders
  • Support continuous improvement of development processes and delivery frameworks

 

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Program Manager, specifically within application development environments
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale, cross-functional technology programs
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills
  • Experience working closely with engineering and product teams

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with enterprise-scale systems and regulatory environments
  • Experience working in hybrid (onsite/offsite) delivery models

 

Additional Information

  • This role requires onsite presence 3 days per week in Alpharetta, GA
