Job Overview:
The Senior Analyst - AML will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) regulations and policies. This position involves analyzing financial transactions, identifying suspicious activities, and supporting the organization's efforts to mitigate financial crime risks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AML compliance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct detailed analysis of financial transactions to identify potential money laundering activities.
  • Prepare and file Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and review customer accounts and transactions for unusual or suspicious activity.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to investigate and resolve AML-related issues.
  • Stay updated on AML regulations and ensure compliance with applicable laws and policies.
  • Provide recommendations to improve AML processes and controls.
  • Assist in audits and regulatory examinations related to AML compliance.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in AML compliance or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of AML regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and USA PATRIOT Act.
  • Experience with AML monitoring systems and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Professional certifications such as CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) are a plus.

Pay Range: $40- $45
