QA Tester

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Long Island NY, that is seeking a QA Tester with a strong focus on data analysis and backend testing to support enterprise data platforms. This role involves validating data pipelines, backend systems, and reports within a cloud-based environment. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in SQL, understands data models and ETL processes, and can independently ensure data accuracy across systems.

Key Responsibilities:
* Perform backend and data-focused testing on cloud-based platforms
* Validate data pipelines, transformations, and ETL processes
* Execute advanced SQL queries to verify data integrity and accuracy
* Test and reconcile data across databases and reporting tools
* Review data models, schemas, and mapping documents
* Identify and resolve data discrepancies in collaboration with the QA and development teams

REQUIREMENTS:
* 3-5 years of experience in QA, data testing, or ETL testing
* Advanced SQL skills and strong data analysis capabilities
* Experience testing backend systems and data pipelines
* Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
