### Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Data Centre Operations Lead to join our team in Rockville, MD. This is an onsite, contract-to-hire opportunity for a seasoned IT professional with strong expertise in Active Directory (AD), Azure AD SSO, VMware, and VxRail. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in datacenter management, server administration, and Windows infrastructure, with a focus on enterprise environments.

### Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day operations and management of the data centre's Windows server infrastructure.
- Oversee and administer Active Directory (AD) and Azure AD, including SSO, user/group management, policies, DHCP, and DNS.
- Manage and maintain VMware environments, including VxRail, ESXi hosts, and vCenter.
- Ensure optimal performance, availability, and security of all datacenter systems.
- Perform proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolution of server and infrastructure issues.
- Participate in capacity planning, backup, and disaster recovery operations.
- Implement and document operational processes and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project delivery and support escalations.
- Mentor and guide junior team members as required.

### Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in data centre operations, server management, and Windows infrastructure roles.
- Expertise in Active Directory (AD) administration (including GPO, user/group management, replication, etc.).
- Strong experience in Azure AD, ADFS, and Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations.
- Hands-on experience with DHCP and DNS administration in enterprise environments.
- Solid background in VMware/vSphere and VxRail administration.
- Experience working with Wintel server environments.
- Proven troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership abilities.

### Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft or VMware certifications (e.g., MCSE, MCSA, VCP).
- Experience with hybrid or cloud (Azure) datacenter environments.
- Previous contract-to-hire or consulting experience.
