Datacenter Manager

• Manage and oversee datacenter operations, including servers, storage, networking, security, and infrastructure performance.
• Ensure high availability, security, and efficiency of systems while implementing best practices for monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and operating systems.
• Manage server virtualization technologies for optimal resource utilization.
• Configure and maintain storage solutions including SAN and NAS.
• Optimize storage performance and capacity.
• Implement and manage backup and recovery strategies.
• Design and maintain datacenter network infrastructure.
• Support configuration of routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Monitor network connectivity and troubleshoot issues.
• Implement physical security measures and access controls.
• Manage surveillance systems and cybersecurity practices.
• Monitor environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity.
• Implement power management and efficiency measures.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and backup plans.
• Test and update recovery procedures regularly.
• Implement monitoring tools for infrastructure performance.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Maintain documentation for systems and configurations.
• Develop training materials and provide guidance to users.
• Collaborate with vendors for support, troubleshooting, and updates.

Qualification And Education:

• Experience working with vendors and support teams.
