Job Description

We are seeking an experienced AJO Senior Architect to design, implement, and optimize omnichannel customer journey solutions using Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO). The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Real-Time CDP, customer journey orchestration, and enterprise MarTech ecosystems.

The candidate will lead architecture discussions, define scalable solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver personalized, data-driven customer experiences.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design scalable end-to-end Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) architectures leveraging:
  • Adobe Experience Platform (AEP)
  • Real-Time CDP
  • Adobe Journey Optimizer
• Architect real-time customer journeys, triggers, decision flows, and omnichannel orchestration patterns
• Configure and manage:
  • Data Sources
  • Datasets
  • XDM Schemas
  • Segments
  • Policies
  • Customer Journeys
• Design and develop marketing communication components including:
  • Email templates
  • Fragments
  • Assets
  • Landing pages
• Set up APIs, event forwarding, destinations, and platform extensions
• Collaborate with engineering and data teams to ensure high-quality profile and event data ingestion pipelines
• Lead workshops, architecture discussions, and discovery sessions with stakeholders
• Conduct performance tuning, troubleshooting, and solution optimization
• Maintain detailed technical documentation including:
  • Architecture diagrams
  • Data flows
  • Technical design documents
  • Operational guidelines
• Assess existing marketing communication systems and design migration/transformation strategies into AJO
• Leverage personalization, dynamic content, and segmentation capabilities to recreate and enhance existing functionalities

Required Skills

• 5–10+ years of experience in MarTech/AdTech architecture and enterprise marketing platforms
• 2–3+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO)
• Strong expertise with:
  • Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO)
  • Adobe Experience Platform (AEP)
  • Real-Time CDP
• Deep understanding of:
  • Customer journeys and triggers
  • XDM schemas
  • Batch and streaming data ingestion
  • Data Sources
  • Real-Time Customer Profile
  • Identity resolution
  • Segment creation and activation
• Experience integrating APIs, destinations, and event-driven architectures
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to lead cross-functional and distributed teams
• Comfortable working in Agile environments
