Summary

Job Title: Product Manager, Data & Reporting (Analytics & BI)

Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Onsite 3 4 days/week)

Duration: 6-month contract (with potential to extend)

Pay Rate: $35/hr W2


About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager Data & Reporting to lead analytics and business intelligence initiatives for a large, well-established consumer-facing organization. This is a hands-on role focused on designing, building, and delivering high-impact data solutions that support decision-making across merchandising, planning, and finance teams.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of business strategy, analytics, and technical execution, and who enjoys working closely with stakeholders while building scalable BI solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and architecture of analytics and BI solutions, including data models, data flows, and reporting structures
  • Own end-to-end delivery of analytics solutions, from data preparation and modeling to dashboards and reports
  • Translate complex business requirements into clear technical tasks and data products
  • Manage analytics initiatives using Agile methodologies, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery
  • Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand needs, provide guidance, and define analytics roadmaps
  • Design and maintain data pipelines to ensure accurate, reliable, and analysis-ready data
  • Build and enhance interactive dashboards, reports, and self-service BI tools
  • Uphold high standards for data quality, governance, and integrity
  • Mentor and support analysts and BI developers, promoting best practices and technical growth
  • Evaluate and introduce new tools or technologies to improve analytics capabilities

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
  • 5+ years of experience in BI development, analytics, or analytics engineering
  • Strong hands-on experience with SQL, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts
  • Experience with modern BI and visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker
  • Proven ability to lead analytics projects and translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, onsite hybrid environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., BigQuery or similar)
  • Background in retail, e-commerce, or consumer goods
  • Prior experience mentoring or leading analysts or BI developers
