Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect with strong expertise in enterprise data architecture, data access, data modeling, AI and data strategy, and data taxonomy. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) and the functional processes associated with this domain.

The Data Architect will define data requirements and application data structures, design scalable data models, and establish effective data storage and integration strategies. This role requires expert-level proficiency in Data Access, strong architectural judgment, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams to deliver enterprise-wide data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive data models aligned with business objectives and technical requirements.

  • Define application data requirements, data structures, storage strategies, and integration patterns.

  • Design scalable and efficient data architecture solutions.

  • Lead the evaluation and adoption of new data technologies and methodologies.

  • Establish data governance, data quality, security, and data management best practices.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data integration and consistency across platforms.

  • Develop and maintain data taxonomies and standards to support enterprise data management.

  • Contribute to AI and data strategy initiatives and improve data-related processes.

  • Analyze complex data challenges and develop solutions that support long-term organizational goals.

  • Provide architectural guidance, technical leadership, and recommendations across multiple teams.

  • Support data access strategy, standards, and implementation approaches.

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of relevant professional experience in data architecture and related data disciplines.

  • Expert-level proficiency in Data Access (P4).

  • Strong knowledge of Data Architecture Principles and Data Modeling.

  • Experience with AI & Data Processes and AI & Data Strategy.

  • Knowledge of Data Taxonomy and enterprise data management.

  • Strong understanding of Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) and its functional business processes.

  • Experience with data governance, data quality, security, and data integration.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing enterprise-scale data architecture solutions.

  • Experience working with PBM-related data, business processes, or applications.

  • Ability to establish data standards and resolve complex architectural challenges across multiple teams.

  • Experience aligning data architecture with enterprise AI and data strategy initiatives.
