QTEC Aerospace is seeking a TEST ENGINEER to join our team of professionals in Huntsville, AL. The qualified applicant will become part of a team of professionals representing both industry and government. The successful candidate will be detail oriented, have a proven track record and a positive work ethic.
Job SummaryQTEC Aerospace is looking for highly capable and motivated individuals. The successful candidates will function as an integral member of a multi-contractor team providing program, engineering, and technical support to Missile Defense programs.
Job Duties/ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities will include, but may not be limited to the following:
- Design, develop, implement, and execute test plans, integration plans, and procedures to complete system-level integration testing
Minimum Education and Experience- Bachelor's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and at least 8 years of related work experience; or a Master's Degree and 6 years of related experience, or 4 years of related experience with a PhD
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities- Ability to understand and interpret requirements and test guidance to complete system-level integration testing
- Experience developing testing criteria to successfully satisfy requirements
- Experience in C++ development
- Strong background using Python
- Experience using Eggplant
- Experience with Gitlab or Bitbucket
- Experience with Elasticsearch
- Missile Defense Domain experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and prepare and brief presentations to the customer as needed
- Self-motivated and customer-oriented
Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities- Experience with Jira, Confluence, DOORS, Jenkins, Bitbucket
Security ClearanceCandidates must currently have and be able to maintain a minimum DoD SECRET level security clearance.
