Top Requirements:
5+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, supporting complex, enterprise-scale initiatives.6+ years of hands-on ServiceNow platform engineering experience, including new development and production support.ServiceNow CSA and CAD certifications (both required).Strong experience with JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with globally dispersed teams.Proven depth in ServiceNow configuration and integrations.Plusses:
Full-stack Java development background, especially for integrations with external applications.Experience with automation testing tools such as Playwright or ServiceNow ATF.Experience supporting Business Continuity Management (BCM) solutions.Corporate real estate technology delivery experience.Job Summary:
The Specialty Software Engineer 4 (ServiceNow Developer) will lead and contribute to complex, large-scale ServiceNow engineering initiatives supporting enterprise business resiliency. This role manages and enhances two critical ServiceNow applications:
Enterprise Services Portfolio (ESP)-the system of record for all service offerings -and
Business Continuity Management (BCM), which recently went live. The engineer will focus heavily on automation, integrations, configuration depth, and scalable solution design while partnering with platform engineering and production support teams. This role requires strong leadership, technical depth, and the ability to influence stakeholders across the organization.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Lead design, development, testing, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions
- Own and enhance ServiceNow applications supporting Enterprise Services Portfolio (ESP) and Business Continuity Management (BCM)
- Deliver custom scripting and configuration using JavaScript
- Design and support integrations, including potential integration with full-stack Java applications
- Drive automation strategy, leveraging Playwright and/or ServiceNow ATF
- Partner with platform and production support teams to resolve issues and deliver enhancements
- Ensure adherence to risk management, compliance, and control requirements
- Collaborate and influence engineers, analysts, and managers
- Participate fully in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
- Support globally distributed teams and stakeholders
