We are seeking a Lead ServiceNow Software Engineer to join a Cybersecurity group. This role will lead, implement, and support the ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR) module. The position involves partnering with Technical Governance, Platform Architecture, and ServiceNow Developers to ensure that design and coding practices align with scalable enterprise solutions, focusing on application development for Cyber Security Vulnerability Remediation applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex, company-wide technology initiatives and serve as an escalation point for less experienced staff.
- Implement solutions by configuring and customizing scripting for all components of the ServiceNow VR product.
- Design, code, configure, unit test, maintain, and document software deliverables using established standards and tools.
- Develop and implement new ServiceNow applications using low-code or out-of-the-box solutions.
- Collaborate with technical experts, senior technology teams, and peers to resolve complex technical challenges.
- Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and comply with defined standards and best practices.
- Manage deployment by engaging with the enterprise platform management team during release cycles.
- Provide L3 production support and manage API integration with non-ServiceNow applications.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 7+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education. 5+ years of experience with service-oriented architecture methods. 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow Application development. 1+ years of experience with ServiceNow Vulnerability Response.
Technical Skills: 1+ years of experience with web technologies including JavaScript, ES5+, HTML, CSS/SCSS, and SQL.
Certifications: Must be a Certified ServiceNow System Administrator. Must be certified as a ServiceNow Application Developer within 6 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience with ServiceNow Vulnerability Response.
- Certified as a ServiceNow Application Developer.
- Certified as a ServiceNow Implementation Specialist for Vulnerability Response.
- Micro-certifications in Service Portal, ATF, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, etc.
- Experience in JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS or React.
- 2+ years of experience with RESTful or SOAP web services.
- 2+ years of Agile experience.
- Integration experience with Qualys, Wiz, NVD, Blackduck, or Checkmarx.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay rate for this position is between $69.00 and $72.00 per hour. A benefits package is available to eligible employees.
