We are looking for a Senior Payroll Administrator for our client in San Jose, CA
Job Title: Senior Payroll Administrator
Job Location: San Jose, CA
Job Type: Contract
Job Overview:
Pay Range: $45hr - $50hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Strong experience in U.S. and Canadian payroll processing.
  • Proficiency with ADP and Workday payroll systems.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and provincial payroll regulations.
  • Experience managing multi-state and multi-province payroll.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Experience:

  • 5 10+ years of payroll experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for U.S. and Canadian employees on a regular schedule.
  • Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, bonuses, and commissions.
  • Validate timekeeping data and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain payroll schedules and ensure timely processing.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and reconcile payroll reports and year-end documents.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Maintain employee payroll records in HR systems.
  • Assist with system updates, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure data accuracy.
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll and deductions.
  • Guide payroll policies and processes.

Should Have:

  • CPP or FPC certification.
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and independent working ability.
  • Collaborative mindset for cross-functional teamwork.

Qualification and Education:
