Overview

We are seeking a Jeppesen RAVE Developer to provide technical support and development for a specialized Jeppesen Crew Rostering suite of tools. This role requires a unique combination of Jeppesen RAVE programming expertise, strong Linux skills, and Python development experience.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with airline crew management or rostering systems and be comfortable supporting bespoke applications that require analytical thinking and problem-solving in complex operational environments.

This position will support ongoing development, troubleshooting, and optimization of the Jeppesen crew scheduling platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using Jeppesen RAVE programming
• Support and enhance Jeppesen Crew Rostering systems
• Provide technical support for production issues and system enhancements
• Work within Linux environments to troubleshoot and maintain applications
• Develop automation and tooling using Python
• Execute and troubleshoot scripts using the Linux command line
• Analyze and resolve complex technical and operational issues
• Collaborate with operations and scheduling teams to implement improvements
• Support system upgrades and new feature development
• Document technical solutions and processes

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Jeppesen RAVE Programming
• Experience supporting Jeppesen Crew Rostering systems
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills
• Advanced Linux command-line proficiency
• Strong Python development experience
• Experience working with bespoke or specialized enterprise tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in complex environments
