Title: Jeppesen Developer

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 12+ months

About the Role

Client is looking for a highly specialized Jeppesen Developer to support and enhance our bespoke Jeppesen suite of crew-operations tools. This role sits at the heart of airline crew scheduling, pairing, and rostering — mission-critical systems that keep operations running safely and efficiently.

If you have experience with Jeppesen RAVE programming, airline optimization logic, and strong Linux/Python skills, this is a chance to directly impact real-world crew operations at scale.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Jeppesen RAVE modules and configurations.
  • Support and optimize Jeppesen Crew Rostering and Crew Pairing logic in a production airline environment.
  • Collaborate closely with Crew Ops, Scheduling, and IT Engineering teams to translate operational rules into technical logic.
  • Improve performance, stability, and correctness of crew models, bids, rosters, and rule sets.
  • Analyze scheduling data, identify issues, and build scripts/automation using Python.
  • Perform Linux command-line tasks, log analysis, and deployment activities.
  • Participate in on-call or rotating support for mission-critical crew systems.
  • Work within a highly customized, domain-specific environment where precision is essential.

Required Experience

  • Hands-on Jeppesen RAVE development (RAVE instruction sets, rule logic, modeling, solver tuning).
  • Experience with Jeppesen Crew Rostering, Crew Pairing, or other crew optimization tools.
  • Strong Linux skillset (command line, scripting, log analysis).
  • Strong Python for automation, data processing, and tooling.
  • Background in airline operations, operations research, or complex scheduling logic.
  • Ability to work in a bespoke, non-standard tooling environment that requires creative problem solving.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting or developing custom crew-ops rule sets (bidding, legality checks, rest requirements, trip building, etc.).
  • Familiarity with OR tools, solver concepts, or constraint-based optimization.
  • Exposure to airline systems such as crew management, flight ops, or network operations.
  • Experience at Jeppesen (Boeing Digital Solutions) or other airline software vendors (AIMS, Sabre, Amadeus, AD OPT).

Best Regards
