What You’ll Do (Impact & Execution)

  • Orchestrate the comprehensive engineering lifecycle for sophisticated multi-site transmission programs, ensuring rigorous adherence to structural integrity and project milestones.

  • Spearhead the development and validation of intricate structural calculations, encompassing advanced foundation design and complex framing geometries for high-voltage environments.

  • Galvanize multidisciplinary teams through technical mentorship and specialized PLS-CADD training, elevating the collective competency of the engineering workforce.

  • Engineer strategic solutions for structural loading and line routing, utilizing materials ranging from traditional lattice steel to modern composite and laminate structures.

  • Navigate the fiscal and operational health of major initiatives by meticulously managing budgets, resource allocation, and cross-functional quality standards.

  • Cultivate high-level client partnerships, serving as the primary technical authority and strategic lead for business development and complex proposal engineering.

  • Synchronize engineering efforts with procurement, environmental permitting, and construction units to ensure seamless project delivery from conceptual design to energization.

What You Bring (Expertise & Profile)

  • Deep Technical Pedigree: A career defined by over a decade of sophisticated overhead transmission design, specifically focusing on 69kV to 500kV+ infrastructure.

  • Mastery of Systems: Expert-level command of PLS-CADD and a profound understanding of structural synthesis across wood, steel, and composite medium-to-high voltage support systems.

  • Strategic Leadership: Proven ability to act as the Engineer in Responsible Charge, blending technical oversight with the commercial acumen required for accurate cost estimation and resource modeling.

  • Academic & Professional Foundation: A Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (or a related discipline) complemented by a Professional Engineer (PE) license.

  • Utility Sector Fluency: Substantial experience navigating the rigorous standards of U.S. investor-owned utilities and large-scale EPC environments.
