7207 - Senior Data Integration Developer (BI & Data Warehouse) Must Reside in Sacramento to be Considered

Position Overview
An enterprise analytics and data services team is seeking a Senior Data Integration Developer to support the design, development, and modernization of data integration and business intelligence solutions. This role focuses on building scalable data pipelines, dimensional models, and analytics platforms that support enterprise reporting and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data integration solutions supporting enterprise analytics and reporting
• Build and enhance dimensional data models, including star schemas, fact tables, and dimension tables
• Develop and maintain ETL processes using Oracle Data Integrator or similar tools
• Support and maintain large-scale data warehouse and operational data store environments
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and availability across enterprise data platforms
• Monitor and troubleshoot ETL jobs, data pipelines, and integration processes
• Translate business data requirements into technical specifications and scalable solutions
• Support expansion of data warehouse datasets, including data marts and self-service analytics solutions
• Coordinate with source system teams to manage impacts of system upgrades and changes
• Provide ongoing maintenance and operational support for enterprise data environments
• Assist with issue resolution, root cause analysis, and performance tuning

Platform Modernization Responsibilities

• Support modernization of business intelligence and data integration platforms
• Implement DevOps practices within the data and analytics lifecycle
• Develop automation frameworks to improve efficiency and scalability
• Build integrations and extensions using Java-based modules and cloud connectors
• Develop automation and scripting solutions using Groovy or similar tools
• Evaluate and implement modern data integration tools and technologies
• Design solutions supporting hybrid environments across on-premises and cloud systems
• Contribute to proof of concept efforts for next-generation data integration solutions
• Implement automated testing, deployment pipelines, and monitoring frameworks

Knowledge Transfer & Documentation

• Document technical designs, processes, and deliverables
• Participate in regular knowledge transfer sessions with internal teams
• Ensure all work products are stored and maintained in shared repositories
• Provide detailed documentation for ongoing maintenance and support

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience in data integration development and enterprise data environments
• Experience designing and implementing dimensional data models and data warehouses
• Hands-on experience with ETL development and data transformation processes
• Proficiency with Oracle Data Integrator or similar ETL tools
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills
• Experience supporting large-scale data platforms with high data volumes
• Experience with data validation, testing, and quality assurance practices
• Ability to troubleshoot complex data integration and performance issues

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with data warehouse modernization and cloud-based data platforms
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and automation in data environments
• Experience with Java development for data integration extensions
• Experience with Groovy or similar scripting languages
• Familiarity with hybrid data architectures (on-premises and cloud)
