ETL Developer / Senior ODI Developer

Role: ETL Developer / Senior ODI Developer Location: Noida (Onsite) Employment Type: Full-Time Experience Required: 5–10 years Working Hours: As per project requirements About the Role The Lead ETL / Senior ODI Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and leading high-performance ETL and data integration solutions using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI 12c) and Oracle PL/SQL. The role involves leading complex data migration projects, supporting on-premise to Oracle Cloud transformations, and providing architectural guidance to clients. This position requires strong technical depth, leadership capability, and excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement ETL solutions using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI 12c) Lead end-to-end Data Warehouse (DWH) implementations (minimum 2–3 projects) Design and optimize complex ODI mappings, Process Flows, Load Plans, and ETL scripts Build reusable, parameterized ETL components with robust error handling, auditing, and logging Perform SQL tuning and performance optimization using Explain Plan and SQL Trace Implement partitioning and indexing strategies for performance improvement Integrate ODI with multiple source and target systems Execute data migration using SQL Loader and Import/Export utilities Develop ETL unit test cases and debug mappings Translate business requirements into ETL specifications, HLD, and LLD documents Lead Proof of Concepts (POCs) and provide architectural recommendations Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions Support migration initiatives from On-Premise to Oracle Cloud Technical Requirements ETL & ODI Expertise 6+ years of ETL development experience, including 3–4 years of hands-on ODI experience Strong expertise in: ODI Master & Work Repository Topology setup Designer and Operator modules Agent configuration Knowledge Module (KM) customization Load Plans and Scheduling Object migration and performance tuning Experience building ETL control tables, auditing, logging, and data quality frameworks Strong understanding of data modeling and ETL design principles Oracle & Database Development Advanced expertise in SQL and PL/SQL Strong experience with: Tables, Views, Indexes, Partitions Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages, and Triggers Materialized Views and Analytical Functions Proven ability in complex data manipulation and migration Strong SQL optimization and tuning skills DevOps & Tools Experience with GIT or similar version control tools Exposure to automation and scripting Knowledge of Python, R, or UNIX shell scripting is a plus Consulting & Leadership Skills 6–10 years of consulting, industry, or technology experience Ability to assess workloads for cloud suitability Strong architectural decision-making skills Experience leading POCs and client discussions Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Willingness to travel based on project needs Preferred Qualifications Experience with Oracle BI Applications Exposure to cloud migration and cloud integration projects Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure & Engineering Experience working with large enterprise customers About the Team – Analytics & Cognitive Our Analytics & Cognitive team supports clients throughout their end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud, covering: Cloud Strategy Operating Model Transformation Cloud Development & Integration APIs & Cloud Migration Cloud Infrastructure & Engineering Cloud Managed Service
