EXECUTIVE ADVISOR NOTE:
This position is open to individuals (i.e., sole proprietors serving as independent consultants) and Small Consulting Firms as defined in Attachment G, Section 3 (A). ___________________________________________________________________________________________________
GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Under the general direction of ForHealth Consulting Executive Leadership (EL) and/or designee, an Executive Advisor (EA) is responsible for providing advice, insights and business analysis on ways to continually improve the delivery of services and performance of the ForHealth Consulting organization. As ForHealth Consulting EL seeks to develop a highly functioning and integrated team to deliver high quality, client-centric, and innovative work in public and private sector markets, experienced support will be essential. The Executive Advisor will be an experienced business executive who provides recommendations to the EL for a unified organizational plan and implementation support to foster continuous strategic and operational performance improvement across the business units of ForHealth Consulting.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:
10-15 years of related management and consulting experience
Outcomes oriented individual who has demonstrated success in a matrixed organizational environment
As required and as directed by the EL, work with ForHealth Consulting leaders, senior staff, subject-matter experts and managers, etc. on areas of key strategic and operational importance with a strong focus on performance improvement.
In conjunction with the EL, set priorities for work to be performed. Develop scopes, timelines and output expectations.
Review all relevant and appropriate documents and materials.
Conduct in person and/or phone interviews; attend and/or facilitate meetings.
Develop relationships with and incorporate input from parties who are both internal to ForHealth Consulting (e.g. subject-matter experts) and external to ForHealth Consulting (clients, etc.).
Assess current organizational capacity, including functions performed, resources, constraints on improving performance, workflows within ForHealth Consulting and interfaces between ForHealth Consulting and external parties.
Identify, recommend and prioritize short- and long-term areas of opportunity to fill gaps, share best practices, realign workflows and enhance organizational integration.
As directed by the EL, execute recommendations for performance improvement including but not limited to the establishment of actionable metrics; development of roll-out plans; facilitation of staff meetings; establishment of policies and procedures; creation of communication materials; and other activities to ensure successful implementation and foster understanding and unified purpose.
As required, serve as a representative of the EL with clients and other outside parties. Required Skills/Qualifications:
Law degree, or Master s degree in management, business administration or health care-related fields, or equivalent experience
Bachelor s degree in management, Health Care, Information Technology, or Business Administration, or equivalent experience
