BCTG's client needs a Lead Functional Analyst for Service-to-Cash (S2C) in an SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud 2025 implementation within a medical device manufacturing environment. The role will join an existing consulting team and work 100% remote with frequent, ongoing team and client interactions. This must be the consultant's sole and only project as it will require 100% dedication.
Core Requirements & Experience Checklist
- Proven experience leading S/4HANA Service-to-Cash in regulated industries like medical devices
- Deep functional knowledge of service management processes: service orders, contracts, warranties, installed base, field service, billing, and revenue recognition
- Strong integration understanding across SAP SD, FI (AR), and service modules (S/4 Service, CS/PM)
- Experience with S/4HANA Private Cloud deployments and fit-to-standard methodology
- Ability to lead workshops, define business requirements, and translate them into functional specifications and configuration
- Knowledge of compliance requirements (e.g., FDA, UDI, traceability) impacting service processes and knowledge of Service Management scenarios such installation, training, warranty, maintenance, and on demand service orders and contracts. Management of trunk stock, and multiple scenarios including lease, rental, warranty, consumables consumption.
- Experience with data migration, testing cycles (SIT/UAT), and cutover planning
Optional / Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience integrating Salesforce Service Cloud with SAP S/4HANA
- Familiarity with middleware tools (SAP CPI, MuleSoft) and API/event-driven architectures
- Understanding of end-to-end service lifecycle orchestration across SFDC and SAP
- Exposure to advanced billing scenarios, subscription/service-based revenue models
- Experience with analytics/reporting for service operations (embedded analytics, SAC)
