We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to provide leadership, oversight, accountability, and project management for large-scale, complex, and highly visible strategic projects and programs.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing complex projects with diverse stakeholders, vendor participation, multiple schedules, system integrations, executive-level communication, risk management, and project governance.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide overall project leadership and management for large, complex strategic initiatives.
Manage direct engagement with stakeholders, project teams, and vendors.
Communicate project status, risks, issues, budget, quality, and schedule to executive leadership.
Lead stakeholder alignment activities and facilitate monthly sponsor meetings.
Establish and monitor project controls to identify changes affecting cost, quality, scope, and schedule.
Develop and manage project plans, staffing plans, schedules, reporting, and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure successful project delivery from initiation through implementation and closeout.
Coordinate day-to-day project activities, tasks, deliverables, and project team responsibilities.
Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations.
Facilitate working sessions, build consensus, and negotiate outcomes across multiple stakeholder groups.
Ensure adherence to established project management methodologies and organizational project prioritization processes.
Perform project quality control activities to ensure project scope and sponsor expectations are met.
Required Qualifications :
5+ years of experience working effectively in team environments within matrix organizations.
5+ years of experience managing complex, high-priority conflicts and competing requirements.
5+ years of experience applying Project Management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
5+ years of experience with system development methodologies for new system development and enhancement of existing systems.
5+ years of experience communicating stakeholder needs clearly and effectively.
5+ years of experience analyzing data, identifying problems, and developing actionable solutions.
5+ years of experience communicating across teams, building consensus, facilitating working sessions, and negotiating outcomes.
5+ years of experience managing stakeholder relationships and resolving complex issues.
Preferred Qualifications :
Previous experience working in a Government or Public Sector environment.
Experience in multiple project leadership roles, such as:
Project Manager
Program Manager
Project Coordinator
Project Leadership or Support Roles
