Merchandising Coordinator

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Brooklyn, NY that is seeking a Merchandising Coordinator.

Summary:
Are you passionate about ecommerce, merchandising, and discovering what makes products stand out? We're looking for a detail-oriented professional to help shape the future of AI-powered product discovery by curating high-quality inventory collections and helping improve the online shopping experience.

What You'll Do:
* Curate and organize product collections that support AI and machine learning initiatives
* Review and evaluate inventory to improve product quality, relevance, and visual appeal
* Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities within product assortments
* Collaborate with merchandising and cross-functional teams to support business goals
* Help train and improve AI-driven discovery and personalization experiences
* Maintain high standards for quality, consistency, and attention to detail

REQUIREMENTS:
* 0-2 years of experience in merchandising, ecommerce, retail, curation, or a related field
* Strong eye for design, product presentation, and visual storytelling
* Naturally curious and interested in emerging AI technologies and tools
* Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing high-volume workflows
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
* Self-starter who enjoys problem-solving and learning new things
* Fashion merchandising education or experience
* Experience curating products, content, or ecommerce assortments
* Experience with regular use of AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or similar platforms

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
