Key Responsibilities

RequirementsManagement>
- Collaborate with business users and internal clients and stakeholders to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into requirements.
- Define the requirements and solution design that addresses the business problemand track solution throughout the delivery process.
- In collaboration with Calypso and other internal bank teams (ex: Cyber security, Architecture etc), ensure the solution adheres to internal standards and patterns.
- In collaboration with internal and external stakeholders (ex: Nasdaq), create and maintain a road map of functional and technical features.
- Manage the Jira backlog for projects, ensuring it is organized, prioritized and broken down appropriately into stories, epics and tasks.
- Lead/Facilitate Scrum meetings and product sprints.
- Continuously prioritize and refine the backlog based on changing requirements.
- Ensure the backlog is transparent, understood and visible.
- Ensure the development teams stay on task and work to agreed-upon priorities.
- Assist the development team in making priority decisions when conflicts arise.
- Work with the QA resources to ensure changes are tested appropriately and comprehensively.
- Participate in user acceptance testing and recommend improvements.

Project Management>
- Assist the Pod’s Program Managers, Scrum Masters in end-to-end activities related to implementation including project management, issue management, communication, and change management.
- Track requirements from elicitation to implementation, including design and development.
- Monitor and evaluate progress at each stage of delivery.
- Work with the Dev team and end-users to deliver updates and status reports.
- Provide demos and progress updates to the business users throughout the delivery process.
- Proactively identify and manage risks.

Qualifications
· 5+ years of experience as a product owner, business analyst, and/or project manager.
· Verifiable experience as a liaison between customers and technical delivery teams.
· 5+ years of experience working in support of trading businesses.
· Experience defining customer experience and user journey.
· Experience completing complex technical projects.
· Knowledge and familiarity with industry standard vendor tools such as Jira, Confluence etc.
Expected Skills / Aptitudes
· Solid understanding of trading operations, finance, market data and banking processes.
· Proficiency with Excel, Visio, PowerBI and Tableau and other standard tools & utilities.
· Strong communication, critical thinking, problem-solving and collaboration
· Ability to guide development resources through the requirements
· Ability to write Jira user stories, including acceptance criteria
· Ability to identify areas of improvement
· Familiarity with agile and waterfall project management tools; Jira, Confluence, MS Project
· Ability to analyze data and interpret trends. Data mapping, data lineage, data governance.
· High level of accountability
