The "Applications Manager - Hexegen" will serve as the primary technical interface between Hexegen and it customers, supporting the integration and application of Hexite advanced materials across a range of industries. This role combines hands-on technical support, project management, and customer collaboration to ensure successful product trials, qualification, and implementation. The ideal candidate has a strong technical foundation, thrives in customer-facing environments, and enjoys solving complex material and process challenges. This position works closely with the Business Development team to be the technical point of contact for customer samples, technical support and to drive the scalability of processes

  • Support customers in the evaluation, testing, and integration of Hexite materials within their applications and production environments.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D and production teams to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
  • Plan and manage technical trials, pilot programs, and application validation projects, ensuring on-time and on-spec delivery.
  • Provide on-site or remote technical assistance during material trials and manufacturing evaluations
  • Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including test protocols, trial reports, and performance summaries.
  • erve as the internal voice of the customer?gathering feedback, identifying improvement opportunities, and communicating them to development teams.
  • Assist in creating product data sheets, technical guides, and training materials for both internal and external use.
  • Conduct technical presentations and training sessions for customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Coordinate with logistics, production, and sales teams to ensure successful execution of customer projects.
  • Stay current with industry trends, standards, and applications relevant to advanced materials and graphene-based products.

Customer loyalty

  • Build strong relationships with customers based on thorough understanding of their challenges and solutions with the Hexite product.
  • Support the differentiation of Hexegen's offering by working closely with customers to become an integral part of their processes to measure and improve performance.

Sales Support

  • Support account managers during sales calls and customer visits including technical discussions, product presentations and product training.
  • Identify, validate and qualify opportunities for application of Hextite.

Product Development

  • Provide input for product planning based on observations and customer feedback.
  • On-site support to concept testing and early product releases.
  • Guide product development by providing feedback and research data.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry or related technical discipline
  • 10- 15 years of experience in technical support, application engineering, or project management within additives, dispersions, materials, coatings, composites, or related manufacturing industries.
  • Management experience
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing and materials processes, including testing and validation methods.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple customer projects from concept through completion
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly to customer and colleagues

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Mater's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
  • Experience working with graphene, nanomaterials, dispersions, or advanced composites
  • Familiarity with lab testing , quality systems, and process documentation
  • Demonstrated success in managing customer technical projects or field trials.
  • Knowledge of industrial-scale manufacturing processes (chemical, mechanical, or thermal systems)

ESSENTIAL SKILLS / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills .
