Our client is seeking an Automation/Playwright Manager in Jersey City, NJ.
Responsibilities
The Playwright Automation Lead will be responsible for driving the test automation strategy leading a team of UI API automation engineers and ensuring high-quality delivery across projects
This role demands deep technical expertise in automation frameworks hands-on experience with Selenium Playwright Rest Assured and Java and strong leadership capabilities
Experience with Data Keyword Driven Hybrid and inhouse frameworks such as Example Epsilon built on Selenium will be considered a strong advantage
Hands on design and implementation of scalable automation frameworks
Architect design and implement scalable automation frameworks and solutions for various types of testing functional integration performance regression
Collaborate with cross functional teams' developers' analysts and stakeholders to align automation strategies with product and business needs
Mentor and guide junior automation engineers
Develop integrate and maintain test automation scripts using industry standard tools like Selenium WebDriver TestNG Pytest and Playwright
Track automation coverage and effectiveness through metrics and reporting
Evaluate and onboard new tools and technologies to enhance automation capabilities
Manage reporting traceability compliance and quality metrics throughout the lifecycle of products or projects
Skills & Requirements
Minimum 10 years of experience in automation testing
Strong hands-on experience with Selenium Playwright Rest Assured and Java
Experience with frameworks like TestNG JUnit Cucumber Playwright
Proficiency in version control and CICD tools eg Git Jenkins
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Proven experience in leading teams and managing automation deliverables
Hands on experience in creating Jenkins Jobs Pipeline or Any equivalent CD Tools
Hands-on experience with Selenium Grid Cucumber BDD Maven and source code management tools Playwright
Experience with any Inhouse framework for Selenium automation
Knowledge of performance and security testing tools
