Senior Business Applications Analyst Facets

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Applications Analyst with strong Facets and Healthcare Claims experience to support application configuration, business requirements, system development, and technical solutions within a healthcare environment.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of Facets Build experience and 5+ years of Healthcare Claims experience, with a strong understanding of packaged healthcare applications, configuration, interfaces, business rules, and SDLC processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for application areas, including:
  • Data definitions and usage
  • File structures
  • Technical/code structure
  • Business rules
  • System requirements and functionality
• Lead the development of Package Software modification requirements and Interface Design Specifications.
• Configure application tables and packaged software to support specific business requirements.
• Establish and maintain complex Packaged Software file configurations.
• Act as a key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders throughout development and implementation.
• Independently analyze business problems and opportunities and develop, implement, and communicate effective solutions.
• Facilitate project completion within defined timelines and budgets.
• Provide technical direction, mentoring, and assistance to junior team members.
• Provide technical leadership and application expertise to project teams and non-project-related initiatives.
• Provide detailed configuration expertise and consulting support to customers and business partners through verbal, written, electronic, and presentation-based communication.
• Analyze business requirements, use cases, and functional requirements to develop efficient enterprise solutions.
• Evaluate current application usage and recommend improvements related to:
  • Business processes
  • Data quality
  • System results
  • Application utilization
• Support key components of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including:
  • Solution design
  • Code development and maintenance
  • Unit testing
  • Test data creation
  • Technical/system documentation
  • Functional requirement validation
• Develop technical specifications and documentation to ensure solutions meet business requirements.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Facets Build experience
• 5+ years of Healthcare Claims experience
• 5+ years of experience in a related business applications/technical field
• Strong understanding of healthcare application configuration and business processes.
• Experience working with Packaged Software configuration and modifications.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, requirements analysis, testing, documentation, and implementation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree, where required.
• In lieu of a degree, 7+ years of relevant experience may be considered.
