Job Description:
TechAGI Solutions is seeking a Mainframe Operator to support IBM Mainframe operations, monitor IT infrastructure, and coordinate Level 1 incident management. This position requires 100% onsite availability in Oakland County, MI, and flexibility to work the required shifts.
Responsibilities:
Function as a Level 1 Incident Manager for critical IT incidents and events.
Create, escalate, triage, and track technology-related incidents.
Monitor infrastructure connectivity, assets, and services using graphical monitoring tools.
Monitor IBM Mainframe control consoles and system performance.
Assist with reviewing and validating JCL.
Collaborate with IT staff, customers, and vendors.
Perform assigned deliveries and operational tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with IBM Mainframe operations and console monitoring.
Familiarity with reviewing and validating JCL.
Experience with WhatsUp Gold, Pingdom, and PRTG.
At least five years of Microsoft Teams experience.
Strong communication and incident management skills.
Availability to work 100% onsite and accommodate day, afternoon, midnight, and holiday shifts as required.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
