Job Description:
  • The Sr. Scrum Master is responsible for facilitating Agile practices and supporting teams in achieving program and iteration goals.
  • The role focuses on improving team performance, ensuring effective collaboration across teams, removing impediments, and promoting continuous improvement.
  • The Sr. Scrum Master also supports Agile program activities and helps foster a strong Lean-Agile mindset across teams and leadership.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Extensive experience using Lean and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience serving as a Scrum Master or Kanban lead.
  • Proven success leading multiple Agile teams toward improved performance and delivery outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Knowledge of scaling Agile practices in large organizations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple deadlines.
Experience:
  • Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Experience coordinating work across multiple teams to improve program flow and delivery.
  • Experience supporting backlog management and collaboration with product owners and product management teams.
  • Experience identifying and removing impediments to support team productivity and delivery.
  • Experience using Agile tools and reporting dashboards to track metrics and performance.
Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate team progress toward iteration and program goals while supporting Agile practices and frameworks.
  • Continuously challenge existing processes and support improvements in quality, predictability, flow, and team velocity.
  • Guide teams in focusing on iteration goals and program objectives.
  • Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Support program-level activities such as planning sessions, cross-team coordination meetings, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure team working agreements and definition of done are followed.
  • Facilitate discussions, decision making, and conflict resolution within teams to improve collaboration and delivery outcomes.
  • Support continuous improvement of communication and relationships between cross-functional teams.
  • Coordinate work with other teams to improve delivery flow and throughput.
  • Represent teams in cross-team coordination meetings and support program-level planning activities.
  • Support product owners and product management teams with backlog management and prioritization.
  • Identify and help remove impediments by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Improve transparency and communication across teams and stakeholders.
  • Promote Lean-Agile leadership behaviors and support initiatives that improve organizational agility.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement within teams and programs.
Should Have:
  • Experience working as a Scrum Master within a scaled Agile program.
  • Experience leading change initiatives and continuous improvement in cross-functional teams.
  • Experience applying Lean methods such as value stream mapping and system optimization techniques.
  • Knowledge of product ownership, DevOps practices, and test automation.
Skills:

Qualification And Education:
  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Additional relevant work experience may substitute for formal education.
  • Professional certifications in Scrum, Agile, or scaled Agile frameworks are preferred.
