IMMEDIATE Data Engineer Needed in Northern Cincinnati

We have an URGENT need with our client in Hamilton, OH (45011).

Duration: 6-12+ months
Location: Hamilton, OH 45011 ( 2 days a week onsite) (Prefer locals)

Role Summary
This role will lead the buildout and maintenance of reliable data pipelines and data marts that support growing, operations, and finance use cases. The position is expected to reduce dependency on existing team bandwidth by independently driving grow-data engineering deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain ingestion pipelines for grow-related data domains such as irrigation, lighting, climate, and production context into a Databricks data lake.
Develop data marts for domains such as growing, operations, and finance.
Maintain and improve marts as source data and business requirements evolve.
Ensure data quality, reliability, and maintainability of pipelines and marts.
Collaborate with data science and analytics teams on data mart design.

Required Qualifications

3 years minimum data engineering experience
Experience with Databricks and modern lakehouse patterns.
Proven experience building production ETL/ELT pipelines from external sources.
Familiarity with dbt and dimensional modeling
