Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Tableau & Snowflake Developer to support enterprise-level analytics and data engineering initiatives within a fast-paced capital markets environment.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Tableau dashboard development, Snowflake data warehousing, SQL optimization, financial data modeling, and large-scale reporting solutions. This role requires a hands-on senior consultant who can work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and leadership to deliver high-performance analytical solutions.

Candidates must have strong experience in capital markets / financial services environments and should be comfortable working onsite five days a week.

Required Qualifications

·         10+ years of overall BI / Data Analytics / Data Engineering experience

·         7+ years of hands-on Tableau Development

·         5+ years of strong Snowflake development and administration experience

·         Expert-level SQL development and performance tuning

·         Strong experience designing enterprise reporting and analytics solutions

·         Experience building complex dashboards, scorecards, and executive reporting

·         Strong understanding of dimensional data modeling

·         Experience with ETL / ELT pipelines

·         Strong data visualization best practices

·         Experience working directly with business users and senior stakeholders

·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Visualization / BI:

Data Warehouse / Database:

Programming / Querying:

·         Advanced SQL

·         Python (preferred)

Data Integration:

·         ETL / ELT pipeline development

Preferred Experience

·         Capital Markets / Investment Banking / Trading platform experience

·         Exposure to financial instruments and market data

·         Experience with cloud-based analytics architecture

·         Knowledge of data governance and security controls

·         Experience working in highly regulated financial environments

Key Responsibilities

·         Design, develop, and optimize advanced Tableau dashboards and reporting solutions

·         Build and maintain scalable Snowflake data models and pipelines

·         Optimize Snowflake query performance and warehouse utilization

·         Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements

·         Translate complex business requirements into analytical solutions

·         Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance

·         Support production reporting environments

·         Identify opportunities for performance improvements and automation

·         Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership

·         Ensure best practices for data architecture and visualization design

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a senior hands-on Tableau and Snowflake expert with strong financial domain experience, exceptional SQL skills, and the ability to operate independently in a demanding capital markets environment.
