Title: Senior Mainframe Engineer / Developer
Location: Remote
Duration: Long-term Contract

Critical Notes

FIS (Systematics) experience is MANDATORY most rejections are due to fake/weak experience
Candidates must have hands-on, real-time FIS Systematics experience (not just mentioned on resume)

Must have minimum 2 years of work experience physically in the US

Job Summary:

Seeking a Senior Mainframe Engineer/Developer with strong expertise in IBM Mainframe technologies and FIS Systematics, responsible for supporting and enhancing enterprise-level financial systems.

Required Experience:

10+ years IBM Mainframe COBOL
10+ years JCL
10+ years Mainframe Utilities (Sort, IDCAMS, ADRDSSU)
5 10 years FIS (Systematics) (Must Have)
5+ years EZTrieve
5+ years MS Excel
5+ years ChangeMan
3 5 years CICS
Minimum 2 years working in the US (onsite presence required, not offshore support)

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL & JCL
Work extensively on FIS Systematics platform for financial systems
Utilize mainframe utilities for data processing and job management
Perform data extraction, reporting, and analysis using EZTrieve & Excel
Manage code deployments and versioning using ChangeMan
Support online transaction processing (CICS) environments
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and system defects

Mandatory Screening Criteria:

Strong, verifiable FIS Systematics project experience
Hands-on coding (not just support/coordination roles)
Clear US work experience (minimum 2 years)
No prior submission to Navy Federal (Job ID: 16575)
