QA Analyst

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Analyst to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software applications. The ideal candidate will design and execute test plans, identify defects, collaborate with development teams, and help deliver high-quality products that meet business and customer requirements.

• Analyze business and functional requirements.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform manual and/or automated testing of web, mobile, and desktop applications.
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product managers to resolve issues.
• Conduct regression, integration, system, smoke, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Ensure software meets quality standards before release.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Create and maintain test documentation and reports.
• Monitor application performance and usability.
• Recommend improvements to testing processes and quality standards.

Required Qualification:

• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Experience in writing test cases and defect reporting.
• Knowledge of bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail).
• Familiarity with SQL for database validation.
• Understanding of API testing using tools like Postman.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
• Basic programming knowledge (Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
