Position Overview:

The Director of End Point Technology Operations is responsible for the strategic direction, operational excellence, and lifecycle management of the organization's global endpoint environment. This includes overseeing teams and processes supporting operating system deployment and imaging, endpoint configuration, application packaging and release management, and endpoint security. The role ensures that all endpoints-across Windows, macOS and Linux-are secure, reliable, and optimized to deliver the best user experience for employees worldwide.

What You Will Do:
  • Lead global endpoint operations and support team.
  • Define and execute endpoint technology and security strategy.
  • Drive automation, standardization, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee OS, application, and configuration management lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance, risk remediation, and endpoint protection.
  • Monitor performance, KPIs, and vendor partnerships.
  • Manage documentation, knowledge sharing, and support transition.

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 14 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 12 years experience
  • 14 years of experience in endpoint management, infrastructure operations, or related IT domains
  • 5 years experience leading a global or large scale endpoint technology or engineering team

Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Strategic leader balancing innovation and operational stability.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Expert in Windows, macOS, Linux, and endpoint management (Intune, SCCM, JAMF).
  • Skilled in application packaging, automated deployment, and scripting (PowerShell, Python).
  • Solid understanding of endpoint security tools and practices (Defender, BitLocker, patch management).
  • Excellent people leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration skills

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 176,000 USD - 352,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
