Job Description: Our biopharmaceutical client is seeking an experienced project manager to support a large data architecture and systems-integration program in a GMP-regulated environment. This person will support work involving requirements, data flows, interfaces, change controls, SDLC, integration testing, qualification, and delivery readiness. The Project Managers will own defined workstreams, project schedules, actions, risks, dependencies, and cross-functional coordination with other teams. The program uses hybrid Agile / Waterfall methodology, combining iterative execution with structured schedules, phase gates, validation activities, and release milestones. Jira and Confluence will be used for planning and traceability, but the primary focus is practical project execution, coordination, and delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Own and maintain detailed project plans for assigned data-architecture and systems-integration workstreams
- Manage projects within a hybrid Agile / Waterfall environment, balancing iterative delivery with structured milestones, dependencies, validation, and release controls
- Track milestones, task dependencies, actions, risks, issues, decisions, and schedule impacts
- Coordinate across business, technical, data, quality, validation, enterprise-platform, and lab-equipment teams
- Support the definition and stabilization of business requirements, system requirements, interfaces, and data contracts
- Facilitate working sessions, document decisions, assign actions, and drive follow-up through closure
- Support testing, qualification, systems integration, and delivery-readiness activities
- Prepare clear project status updates and proactively escalate risks, issues, and constraints
- Maintain project documentation and traceability using Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, or comparable tools
Required Experience:
- Hands on project management experience in a GMP regulated environment
- MUST have experience with Jira/Confluence
- Experience working in hybrid Agile / Waterfall delivery environments
- Strong ability to manage schedules, dependencies, actions, risks, issues, and competing priorities
- Familiarity with GMP delivery, validation / qualification, and controlled-change practices
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder-management experience.
- Ability to work independently while escalating appropriately to senior program leadership
Preferred: PMP, CAPM, Scrum, or comparable project-delivery certification
Personable Skills: Strong written & verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills
Education: Experience outweighs education
