Summary

The Manufacturing Systems and Infrastructure (MSI) team is responsible for gathering,\\nconsolidating and tracking all manufacturing data for Apple's products and modules\\nworldwide. This data is captured and used throughout the company and the products'\\nlifecycle, from the very beginning, to validate that units being built are fully tested and of\\nhigh quality before leaving the factory, all of the way through to warranty support for\\ncustomers.

We are seeking a Senior User Experience Designer who possesses a real passion for phenomenal design, a superb aesthetic sense, and an extraordinary eye for detail. In this role, you will have a deep appreciation for user experience in data analysis and a proactive willingness to learn and adapt to emerging AI technologies. You will play a crucial role in defining and implementing AI solutions for our organization, transforming how we manage and interact with complex manufacturing data.\n\nWe need a designer with the unique ability to quickly grasp and distill highly complex matters into clean, understandable solutions. You won't just work in a vacuum; you will promote these ideas throughout the team, collaborating across functions to build amazing user experiences that make mundane data engaging and actionable through techniques like gamification.\n

7+ years of experience in user-centered design with a focus on data-intensive or complex B2B applications.\nProven ability to act as a solo design advocate, capable of driving research and design strategy without a large design department for support.\nMastery of design and prototyping software such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.\nDeep understanding of information architecture, design patterns, and interaction design.\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable user journeys.\nDemonstrated experience in applying gamification techniques to professional or data-driven environments.\nHigh emotional intelligence and communication skills to navigate cross-functional partnerships and influence product roadmaps.\nBachelor's Degree in a related field or relevant work experience.

Professional experience or projects involving the integration of AI/ML features into user interfaces.\nKnowledge of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React/Redux.\nFamiliarity with data visualization best practices for large-scale industrial datasets.\nMaster's Degree in Human Computer Interaction, Design, Media Arts and Sciences. \n
