Summary

Play a key role in shaping the tools that power AI development. We're looking for a senior designer who can take on complex, ambiguous problems and turn them into beautiful, elegant, and highly usable experiences.\\nThis is a highly visible role working across multiple teams within the Apple's AI/ML organization for multiple products. Beyond craft, you'll help drive alignment, influence product direction, and bring clarity to complex problem spaces.

In this role, you will design intuitive and scalable experiences for AI training and evaluation tools, spanning workflows such as data annotation, evaluation, and visualization. You'll partner closely with engineers, users, and product stakeholders to shape product direction from early concepts through execution.\nYou'll also play a key role in simplifying complex systems, rapidly prototyping ideas, and aligning cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive and impactful solutions.

Strong visual and interaction design skills with high attention to detail\nProven experience designing complex systems, tools, or workflows\nExperience shipping high-quality, customer-facing products\nAbility to work through ambiguity and define clear solutions\nStrong collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional teams\nProficiency with Sketch and Adobe Creative Cloud or other equivalent tools\nBachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field (or equivalent experience)\nMust have portfolio demonstrating shipped work and design process

Experience designing data-heavy interfaces or visualization tools\nBackground working on AI/ML, data platforms, or developer tools\nStrong systems thinking and ability to design scalable frameworks\nExperience contributing to or building design systems\nAbility to rapidly iterate and prototype to explore multiple directions\nProactive mindset with the ability to drive alignment and influence product direction
