Product Designer II

RESPONSIBILITIES:
A client with Kforce is seeking a Product Designer II to join their team in Mountain View, CA. This is an onsite hybrid position in office 3 days a week.

Overview:
The client Identity design team is looking for a Senior Product Design Contract Worker to help shape onboarding and identity verification experiences across the client.

In this role, you will design experiences that help customers join business accounts, verify their identity when needed, and move seamlessly across the client's products. You will focus on cross-product onboarding, business account invitations, and adaptive identity verification that reduces unnecessary friction while meeting security and regulatory requirements.

Key Tasks:
* Design intuitive end-to-end experiences that balance customer needs, business goals, and technical constraints across web and mobile
* Design onboarding, business account invitation, and identity verification experiences using the client's Design System components and patterns
* Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma, using AI-assisted tools where they improve exploration, iteration, or documentation
* Communicate customer journeys, design decisions, and recommendations through presentations and design artifacts
* Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Data Science, and User Research throughout the product development process
* Deliver detailed specifications, support implementation, and review experiences before launch
* Test and refine concepts using customer feedback, usability testing, and product data, working independently when dedicated research support is not available

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Product Design, Graphic Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
* Strong senior-level product designer with 5+ years of experience leading complex product initiatives from concept through implementation
* Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership of complex workflows in identity, onboarding, platform, enterprise, or fintech products
* Strong systems thinking and the ability to simplify complex customer journeys into intuitive, scalable experiences
* Experience designing across multiple products or shared platform capabilities
* Ability to work through ambiguous problems with evolving technical, business, security, or regulatory requirements
* Strong collaboration, facilitation, and communication skills, with experience driving alignment across cross-functional teams
* Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with AI-assisted design tools such as Claude, Cursor, or similar tools
* Experience with identity, authentication, authorization, permissions, or enterprise account systems is strongly preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
