Exciting opportunity for a Sr. Product Owner with strong API/web services and SQL knowledge to work within a top notch enterprise Financial Services environment! You will work with the Product Manager & business unit SMEs to elicit business requirements and translate into user stories & acceptance criteria.

• 6-month contract to hire
• Hybrid in St. Louis, MO (3 days/week in-office)
• Pay range: $80-91/hour W2

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Own and manage team backlog(s)
• Participate actively in PI planning activities
• Lead Development team through all activities to support Sprint activities
• Key stakeholder in product related decisions and release planning
• Possess in-depth knowledge of goals and desired objectives of initiatives and features
• Work to drive value as a function of cost, time, functionality and quality
• Work with Product Manager to evaluate product roadmap to identify features for development
• Produce work flows, complete data mapping, and perform business process design
• Work with Architects and Tech Leads to identify non-functional requirements such as infrastructure needs
• Plan and coordinate releases
• Work with QA team to identify test cases for automated testing
• Coordinate with business customers to conduct product integration testing

REQUIRED:

• 7+ years as an IT Product Owner
• Backlog management, requirements gathering & translation into technical specs, & user story creation experience
• Experience using AI-driven insights/productivity tools (e.g., Gemini)
• Experience working in in an API-heavy enterprise environment
• Intermediate to advanced SQL (BigQuery preferred)
• Experience in delivering products using SDLC via Agile, Scrum or Kanban
• Deep understanding of web services & UI technologies
• Experience with Product & Technology Roadmap development through influence of key business & technology stakeholders to identify business priorities
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Aha! & Confluence
• Strong leadership & motivational skills
• Excellent communication skills

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• CSPO or similar certifications
• Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
• Financial Services or FinTech industry
• Google BigQuery
• Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
• Kubernetes
