Overview:We are seeking an organized and customer-focused IT Support Analyst to provide technical assistance to end users through both in-person and remote channels. This role is responsible for resolving technical issues, supporting core IT operations, and assisting with ongoing technology initiatives such as the migration from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
Key Responsibilities:- Accept, review, and take action on help desk tickets in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide technical support to end users via in-person visits, email, phone, and web-based platforms.
- Diagnose and identify technical issues based on user-reported symptoms, diagnostic reports, and system indicators.
- Use remote-control software to troubleshoot and repair user issues directly.
- Perform basic account administration tasks, including password resets, permission adjustments, and profile updates.
- Train new employees or existing users on software applications, processes, or new equipment as needed.
- Assist with routine operational tasks such as inventory management and equipment tracking.
- Create and maintain detailed work logs documenting user interactions, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
- Support the organization's transition from Windows 10 to Windows 11 by assisting with upgrades, user support, and troubleshooting.
- Set up and configure equipment including desktops, laptops, monitors, and peripherals.
Qualifications:- Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
- Experience providing technical support through multiple channels (phone, email, chat, remote tools).
- Familiarity with help desk ticketing systems and basic troubleshooting procedures.
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems, including support for Windows 10 and Windows 11.
- Ability to diagnose technical issues and perform hands-on repairs or configurations.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A proactive and adaptable mindset with a desire to improve processes and user experience.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spring Valley, NY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
