Job Title: Python Developer
Location: Charlotte, NC
Work Arrangement: 3 day in office with 2 day WFH
Client Industry: Banking
Duration: 12 -18 months Contract
Schedule: Monday to Friday
About the Role
Position Overview:
Part of the Application Management Agile Team to support Model onboarding to the Google Cloud Platform (Global Risk Analytics Core Platform) system and/or using/implementing new features. Model Adoption support and L3 support. Coordinate with users and across teams to drive and deliver solutions. Manage/Implement regulatory and security patches, upgrades, and enhancements. Deliver solutions to automate and/or monitor or improve the system.
Work with Users, Development team, DevOps, Business analyst etc. to find quick resolution to the issues.
Must Haves:
- 5+ years Python development experience, including writing production-grade, maintainable code
- 5+ years in a production support role (L1/L2), handling high-priority incidents under SLAs
- Hands-on experience with PySpark on Hadoop/YARN or Spark-on-K8s
- Strong Shell scripting (bash) skills for automation and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with Linux system administration (process management, file systems, networking)
Compensation
Hourly Rate: 63$-65$ per hour
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
