Job Description
We are seeking a Scrum Master to join our dynamic team supporting the GFIIT portfolio. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Agile and Scaled Agile delivery, ceremony facilitation, dependency management, and delivery oversight and a proven ability to enable high-performing teams, drive continuous improvement, and achieve sprint and program objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a servant leader for one or more Scrum teams and remove impediments.
- Coach teams to meet sprint goals and timelines and uphold the Definition of Ready and Definition of Done.
- Plan, facilitate, and coach Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Coordinate Program Increment activities and represent the team in Scrum of Scrums within a Scaled Agile environment.
- Manage cross-team dependencies and provide transparent delivery plans and progress reporting.
- Drive continuous improvement and share best practices across Agile teams to increase team maturity per Bank of America guidelines.
- Provide delivery management and oversight for key GFIIT initiatives.
- Partner as a business analyst to elicit needs, analyze solutions, and build strong relationships with business stakeholders.
- Develop domain understanding of Treasury and supported applications.
- Support technology delivery in Capital Markets, including Fixed Income or Derivatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience as an Agile Scrum Master leading one or more teams.
- Proficiency in Agile and Scaled Agile practices, ceremony facilitation, and dependency management.
- Strong delivery management background with transparent reporting and risk management.
- Business analysis capability to translate needs into actionable backlog items.
- Knowledge of Capital Markets with product exposure in Fixed Income or Derivatives.
- Experience with trading or Quartz-based applications.
- Ability to script in Python or write SQL for analysis and reporting.
Preferred Skills:
- Scrum Master certification and/or PMP certification.
- Prior experience in Treasury technology or GFIIT-aligned domains.
