Genesis10 is currently seeking a Scrum Master for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. We are looking for a talented and highly motivated Scrum Master who is responsible for one or more Scrum teams. Key responsibilities include coordinating and facilitating Scrum ceremonies, managing dependencies for the team, providing visibility into team delivery plans and progress, and enabling continuous improvement within the team. This role is also responsible for delivery management and oversight support for key projects.
Responsibilities: - Act as a servant leader to your teams and help resolve impediments
- Coach the team to achieve sprint goals and sprint timelines, driving adherence to the Definition of Ready and Definition of Done
- Schedule, facilitate, and coach agile routines and ceremonies including Sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint retrospectives and PI planning
- In a Scaled Agile model, facilitate scaled planning for the team (e.g., pre-planning preparation, PI planning events) and represent the team in Scrum of Scrums
- Enable the team to become high performing through collaboration and relentless focus on continuous improvement, including working with other scrum teams to define best practices
- Drive the agile team maturity based on established guidelines
- Manage delivery for key project deliverables
Requirements: - Proven experience as an Agile Scrum Master
- Experience with Jira
- Business analyst experience helping to drive the understanding of business needs and analyzing the best solutions by building close relationships with business partners
- Drive to understand the Treasury space and the applications supported
- Prior Capital Markets experience in driving technology projects
- Capital Markets product knowledge in Fixed Income or Derivatives
Desired skills: - Scrum master/PMP certified
- Quartz experience or Trading applications experience
- Python or SQL scripting
Pay range: $63.94 - $71.94 per hour
