Summary

Kadiak, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a SeniorSoftware Engineer with a Top-Secret security clearance to support Kadiak and our government customer in Washington, DC.

The ideal candidate will work in an AWS cloud environment, utilizing cutting-edge technologies. The developer will collaborate with both government and contractor teams to support all aspects of application development at the FBI.

Responsibilities:
  • Gathering, analyzing, and developing enhancement specifications and requirements based on system owner input.
  • Be involved throughout the entire project lifecycle, from development to production support. Strong user interface development skills, particularly with JavaScript, are essential.
  • Design, develop, test, and manage application development projects in support of IT infrastructure.
  • Integrate third-party components programmatically and introduce new custom capabilities.
  • Modify existing code to enhance functionality and performance.
  • Recommend process improvements and automate operations and maintenance tasks.
  • Develop and implement technical efforts to design, build, and deploy applications under the direction of lead architects.
  • Work on large-scale data processing, computationally intensive statistical modeling, and advanced analytics.
  • Participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance.
  • Conduct technical project milestone reviews, code architecture sessions, resource estimation, and development best practices knowledge transfer.

Here's what you'll need:
  • 4 Year Degree Information Technology or related field or Equivalent Experience.
  • Java (JEE Development).
  • Strong JavaScript/Ajax Application Development.
  • Angular version 14 or above (5+ years experience in this skill).
  • Spring Boot & Spring Data JPA.
  • Tomcat /JBoss.
  • PostgreSQL .
  • Atlassian tools.
  • Agile methodology experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • 8+ years of experience.

Security Requirement:
  • Top-Secret security clearance
