Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Java Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of Java programming and software development principles, with a willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative environment. You will work closely with senior developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders to build, maintain, and enhance software applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications and services.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following coding standards.
• Assist in designing and implementing new features and functionality.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback from team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Support application deployment and production issue resolution as needed.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and development best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1–4 years of experience in Java development (internships or academic projects are acceptable).
• Strong knowledge of Core Java concepts, including OOP principles, Collections, Exception Handling, and Multithreading basics.
• Understanding of SQL and relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and web services.
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
• Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Spring Boot, Spring MVC, or other Java frameworks.
• Familiarity with Maven or Gradle build tools.
• Understanding of unit testing frameworks such as JUnit.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or frontend technologies.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) is a plus.
