Systems Administrator

Description

We are looking for a dedicated Systems Administrator to join our team in Las Vegas, Nevada. This role requires a proactive individual with strong technical expertise and problem-solving skills to support and maintain our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for technology, adaptability, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain systems, including Microsoft 365, VMware, and Entra ID, ensuring optimal performance.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, and other applications to support end-users.

Configure and create virtual servers, providing reliable infrastructure solutions.

Respond to and manage incoming support tickets, averaging 60 per week in a mid-sized user environment.

Participate in on-call rotations to address urgent system-related concerns.

Utilize Fortinet administration tools when needed to enhance network security.

(Nice to Have, but Note Required) Perform scripting tasks using PowerShell to automate processes and improve efficiency.

Stay updated on emerging technologies and certifications to enhance system performance and security.

Requirements

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Systems Administrator, preferably at L1 level.

Proficient in Microsoft 365, VMware, and Entra ID with hands-on server management experience.

Strong troubleshooting skills across Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, and related applications.

Demonstrated interest in AI technologies and their applications in IT.

Familiarity with PowerShell scripting, Network+ certification, and Fortinet administration is a plus.

Comfortable with on-call responsibilities and managing ticketing systems (JIRA being used).

Solid understanding of Active Directory, Windows Server, and virtualization technologies.
