Summary

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Systems Analyst (10+ years) to join a data modernization squad supporting enterprise data platforms. The role is focused on data analysis, ETL understanding, requirements gathering, and translating business needs into technical solutions.

The candidate will work on modernizing legacy data systems, improving automation, reducing manual processes, and supporting enterprise data integration initiatives across cloud platforms such as AWS, Snowflake, and Oracle.

Key Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for data systems
Perform data analysis, profiling, and validation across large datasets
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and ETL/data mappings
Work closely with data engineering teams on ETL pipelines and data transformations
Analyze existing systems and identify opportunities for automation and modernization
Support design of data flows, process flows, and system integration solutions
Write and maintain source-to-target mapping (STTM), data dictionaries, and documentation
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, grooming)
Perform UAT support, testing validation, and issue troubleshooting
Work with SQL and Python for data extraction, validation, and analysis

Required Skills

10+ years experience as Systems Analyst / Data Analyst / Data-focused BA
Strong SQL skills (Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, or similar)
Hands-on experience in ETL processes (Informatica, IICS, SSIS, AWS Glue, etc.)
Strong data analysis and troubleshooting skills
Experience with data mapping, data lineage, and documentation
Understanding of data warehousing concepts (star/snowflake schema)
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Basic experience with Python for data analysis (preferred)

Preferred Skills

Experience with AWS (S3, Redshift, Glue) or Snowflake
Exposure to REST/SOAP APIs (nice to have)
Experience with data migration or modernization projects
Experience in financial services or enterprise data platforms
