Hybrid Every other week onsite/5 days in Smithfield, RI

Our client seeks a senior Systems Analyst to support an agile data solutions squad focused on enterprise data platforms. The role will gather requirements, analyze and map data, and modernize data pipelines and integrations using SQL, ETL practices, and database technologies such as Oracle, Snowflake, and AWS. You will partner with data stewards and CRM stakeholders to automate complex business events and improve data quality across platforms. The work will advance scalable, reliable data capabilities that reduce manual processes.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $60.00 to $65.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Gather and document business and technical requirements for data solutions and integrations.
  • Perform data analysis, data mapping, and lineage to support modernization of enterprise data platforms.
  • Create flowcharts, use cases, user stories, and detailed specifications for database and data projects.
  • Configure systems and support user acceptance testing and product documentation.
  • Translate business needs and functional requirements into technical specifications for technology teams.
  • Analyze existing solutions and recommend modernization strategies for data infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with data stewards and CRM partners to integrate and automate business events in data pipelines.
  • Validate data and transformations using SQL and, when suitable, Python scripting.
  • Support Agile delivery using Scrum or Kanban practices and coordinate across multiple teams.
  • Convey data insights to partners in clear, business-focused language.

Experience Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in systems analysis methodologies including data analysis, data mapping, flowcharts, use case development, story writing, configuration, UAT, and documentation.
  • Strong SQL for data analysis and validation; Python scripting experience for analysis and validation.
  • Experience with ETL projects and data pipeline development.
  • Knowledge of SOAP and REST APIs (preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with database and cloud data platforms such as Oracle, Snowflake, and AWS S3.
  • Solid understanding of database design concepts.
  • Proven ability to lead analysis of business systems and processes and identify improvements.
  • Ability to translate non-technical requirements into technical specifications for data projects.
  • Experience working in Agile models, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with cross-team coordination.
  • Strong conceptual thinking and problem-solving with practical recommendations.
