Summary

Title: AI Solutions Architect
Location: Oro Valley Arizona 85755
Duration: 12 months with possible extension

Job Summary:
As the AI Solutions Architect, you will support the automation and digitization of product development workflows for a Tissue Diagnostics Development Organization. In this role, you will create custom technical solutions to assist scientists and engineers in accelerating innovation. Responsibilities include designing automation solutions, testing performance, identifying opportunities for Generative AI and Robotic Process Automation, assessing system interactions, and developing scalable automated workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Workflow Transformation: Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to audit and map diagnostic workflows, identify bottlenecks, and design future-state automated systems.
  • AI Solution Architecture: Design and deploy end-to-end solutions using LLMs, Python/Bash scripting, and integration tools to automate manual processes.
  • Quality & Risk Mitigation: Develop evaluation frameworks for AI outputs, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and mitigation of hallucinations.
  • Prompt & API Engineering: Design and refine prompts and manage integration of AI APIs into existing systems.
  • Performance Tracking: Establish metrics and KPIs to measure ROI and efficiency gains from automation.
  • Strategic Change Management: Lead implementation of AI tools and communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
  • Advanced expertise in LLMs and Generative AI, including understanding of model constraints and use cases.
  • Strong systems architecture and digitization capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical teams.
  • Proficiency in Python or Bash and experience with automation tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with scientists and engineers.
  • Strategic decision-making skills for selecting appropriate technical solutions.
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with 4 years of relevant experience, OR
  • Master's degree with 2+ years of experience, OR
  • PhD in a related field
