Position Overview

We are looking for an enterprise AWS DevOps Engineer specialized in automated governance and high-velocity compliance pipelines for our Global Financial Services business unit. This role is focused on removing friction from the software development life cycle for Top 10 Global Banks by delivering robust, secure, and self-healing CI/CD infrastructure that makes compliance an automated byproduct of the deployment process.

Key Responsibilities

• Secure CI/CD Engineering: Design, implement, and maintain highly secure deployment pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline) embedding automated security scanning (SAST/DAST, dependency check, container scanning).
• Automated Compliance (Compliance-as-Code): Build automated policy enforcement engines using tools like AWS Config, OPA (Open Policy Agent), or Terraform Compliance to block non-compliant infrastructure before it reaches execution.
• GitOps Orchestration: Drive absolute automation across development, staging, and highly restricted production environments using GitOps tools (ArgoCD, Flux) on AWS.
• Observability & Telemetry: Implement end-to-end telemetry and tracing across complex financial applications using Amazon CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray, Prometheus, and Grafana to optimize latency and meet audit-trail standards.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of dedicated DevOps/Platform engineering experience in cloud environments.
• Domain Expertise: At least 2+ years inside a Financial Services or highly regulated enterprise environment, with deep respect for separation of duties, change management boards, and immutable audit logs.
• Technical Deep Dive: Strong scripting/programming skills (Python, Bash, Go). Expert-level proficiency with Terraform/OpenTofu. Experience configuring Jenkins, GitHub Enterprise, or GitLab for enterprise multi-tenant pipelines.
• Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional (Required).
• Location: 100% Remote (Based anywhere in the US).

• Salary Range: $140,000 – $160,000 base salary (dependent on experience and certifications).
