Summary

Location: Lansing, MI
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Required onsite 2 days per week, Mondays and Tuesdays, from Day 1. No remote-only option.)
Employment Type: Contract
Interview Mode: Virtual via MS Teams Video.
Requirements: Candidates must be local (within a 90-mile radius of Lansing). Resumes must be strictly limited to 4 5 pages.

Core Responsibilities

Application Development: Write well-designed, testable code using Java/JEE, Spring Boot 3.0, and Hibernate/JPA.
Front-End Integration: Develop responsive components using Angular, React.js (ES6+), and JavaScript.
Web Services: Design and develop RESTful and SOAP Web Services using Spring Web MVC.
Database Management: Create and debug complex SQL Server objects, including stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
System Architecture: Implement design patterns (Singleton, DAO, Session Fa ade) and maintain applications using Apache Struts and Tomcat/JBOSS servers.
DevOps & Agile: Manage backlogs and task tracking in Azure DevOps (ADO) and utilize GIT for source control and Maven for build frameworks.

Required Experience & Skills

Java/Spring: 5+ years of recent experience with Java, Spring/Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
Full Stack: 5+ years with Angular, JavaScript, and SSRS.
Database: 3+ years of advanced SQL Server development and performance tuning.
Project Management: 5+ years working in hybrid Agile/Waterfall environments; 3+ years using Azure DevOps (ADO).
Modern Tools: Experience with Java 17, React.js (Redux), and OpenShift containers.
AI Integration: Hands-on experience using AI tools to accelerate coding, refactoring, and documentation tasks.

Qualifications

Frameworks: Proficiency in Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Batch, and Spring Security.
Methodology: Familiarity with CMM/CMMI Level 3 methods and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
Communication: Proven ability to build trust through integrity and build strategic relationships through teamwork.
