Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our Advanced Analytics team. In this role, you will work on client engagements to design and deliver bespoke analytical solutions that address complex business challenges. You will leverage advanced data analysis techniques to build models, generate insights, and create measurable business impact.
You will also act as a critical bridge between business and technology teams, translating complex analytical requirements into actionable solutions while collaborating closely with data engineers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
•Develop and deliver tailored advanced analytics solutions for client engagements.
•Apply statistical modeling and data mining techniques to solve complex business problems.
•Analyze large and complex datasets to extract actionable insights and recommendations.
•Design, develop, and implement predictive and prescriptive models.
•Act as an analytics translator between business stakeholders and technical teams.
•Collaborate with data engineers to ensure seamless data integration and model deployment.
•Communicate analytical findings and technical concepts in a clear, concise, and business-friendly manner.
•Identify root causes of business problems and recommend data-driven solutions.
•Contribute to the development of innovative analytical approaches and frameworks.
•Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment.
Required Skills & Experience
•6–9 years of experience in data analytics, data science, or a related field.
•Strong expertise in statistical and data mining techniques such as:
oRegression analysis
oDecision trees
oClustering
oNeural networks
•Hands-on experience working with large datasets and relational databases (SQL).
•Proficiency in programming languages such as Python; knowledge of C++ or Java is a plus.
•Strong problem-solving and quantitative analysis skills.
•Ability to break down complex problems, identify root causes, and design effective solutions.
•Excellent communication and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex analytical concepts.
•Proven leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire, influence, and build strong team relationships.
•Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented, professional mindset.
•Intellectual curiosity and a passion for working with data to drive impact.
Preferred Qualifications
•Experience working in consulting or client-facing roles.
•Familiarity with end-to-end analytics solution design and deployment.
•Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including business, IT, and engineering.
Education
•Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as:
Computer Science
Engineering
Statistics
Mathematics
or a related discipline
Master’s or advanced degree is a strong plus.
